Deano's viewing has been rebooked for another day

I had a call from the person coming to view Deano, his car had broken down before he got out of his road, the car is less than 1 year old so he isn't too impressed. He has made an appointment to view another time. He was going to try and still get over today but it would have clashed with the school run this afternoon.

Suad phoned to make arrangements for her chinchillas to come here while she is away on holiday.

We got on all OK at the hospital yesterday....

We got on all OK at the hospital yesterday, they gave us some more eye drops rather than the cream which will be easier to adminster.

We had two new tyres put on my car and then took it in for a service and MOT, It passed all OK, they just had to replace the winder wiper blades and a bulb.

The geldings were a bit of a handful going out this morning, partly because of the wind and partly because they have been in for three days.

The felt is lifting on my chinchilla shed so I have messaged Jim. We have got one new roll but need enough to do 5 lengths of 18 foot.

I've got someone coming to view the chinchillas this afternoon, they are interested in Deano the little violet boy I have for sale.

Deano - violet male

Darren is out of the office this afternoon so should be home early, I'm not used to seeing him this much during the week.

I decided to put the mares out this morning......

I decided to put the mares out this morning and looking at the weather now I'm glad I did. Looks like it could be a sunny day however we are forecast occasional light rain. Just had tea and toast for breakfast....I think I'm slowly falling into a rut of snacking on too many chocolate biscuit bars so as of today I am going to make a point of keeping an eye on what I am eating, swapping the chocolate for fruit and try and fit in a few sit-ups throughout the day to get in trim for summer.  My car is going in for a MOT and service today so I'll pop out and give it a quick clear out. I'm hoping on having a nice relaxing evening with hubby tonight as he is off of work today but life is usually quite hectic here so I'm not sure things will go to plan.

The start of a new day

Here we are again with the start of a new day, wind and light rain today so I have to decide whether to put the mares out....I'm just going to check on the chinchillas and then I'll be off down the stables. I'll probably decide on what to do once I get down there, at the moment it does sound quite windy.

The house is so quiet

The weather wasn't as bad as I was expecting this evening. We came home to a nice quiet house. Darren had just taken Louise up just before we were on our way out and I haven't heard a sound since I got back from the stabes.

Had a huge mug of tea and a chocolate penguin and now I'm off to bed.

Just leaving work

Darren has just messaged me to say he is just leaving work....I'm going to make a start on dinner, I don't know if I'll get time to blog anymore this evening so I'll say goodnight and catch up on life with you all tomorrow.

Feeling really tired

Not sure why but I am feeling really tired this evening which is unlike me. I could quite easily lay down and have a sleep. Darren should be leaving work around PM, we will have dinner and then I'll go down the stables and do the horses. That will probably wake me up especially with the weather being the way it is at the moment. It's still really wet and windy, if it's like this in the morning I'll keep the mares in.

Darren has got the day off of work tomorrow because Louise needs to go to the hospital for a check up, one of the cats scratched her eye over the weekend. We took her to A & E Saturday night to get it checked out. It will be nice if we actually get an early night tomorrow, at the moment I feel as if everything is work work work....even in the morning we will be busy because I've got to go and get a couple of new tyres on my car and then take it into Nissan for a MOT and service which will probably cost a small fortune.

The door bell rang...

Although I was expecting someone to collect their chinchilla, when the door bell rang my first thoughts were that it was a courier delivering a parcel, probably because of the shape of the box he was holding. It was Michael, he had come to collect Dillon. He has driven over from Hatfield, today isn't the best of days to be out on the roads either, we have got strong winds today and to make it worse it's raining. I'm hoping it will ease off very soon because I have got to go and collect my daughter from school. I've only got to drive up to the top of the road so I suppose I'm being a wimp really, I just feel sorry for the kids coming out in this weather.

Hello everyone

Just a quick hello to everyone, I've been having a look around for somewhere new to blog. This looks to be one of the better places I have found so I'll give it ago and if I like what I see I'll be posting regular entries.
